Privacy Policy — Guess the Bus

The short version
Guess the Bus does not collect any data about you. There is no account, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The app does not send anything anywhere.
What the app stores
Everything the app knows about you stays on your device:
Your progress on today's puzzle
Your streak and past results
Whether you have purchased Bus Pass
This is stored locally and is included in your device backup if you use one. It is never transmitted to us, because there is no "us" to transmit it to — the app has no server.
Network access
The app works entirely offline. Bus route data is included in the app when you download it and is not fetched at runtime. The app makes no network requests of its own.
Purchases
If you buy Bus Pass, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We receive anonymised sales reports from Apple and never see your name, payment details, or Apple Account.
Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's own privacy policy, not this one.
Third parties
There are none. The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporting service, and no social media integration.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
Route data
Bus route information comes from Transport for London's open data. This is public data about buses, not about you. Guess the Bus is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Transport for London.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Given that the app collects nothing, substantial changes are unlikely.
